The Same Guy is a techno artist whose journey began long before humanity found its way beyond the stars. At the age of 7, a primitive Casio MT-60 keyboard sparked a lifelong fascination with the emotional power of synthesized sound. That early curiosity evolved into a passion for sonic exploration—one shaped by years spent immersed in the underground transmissions of places like Neon Meridian, Vanta Prime, The Lunar District, and Palladium-9, as well as the illicit allure of outlaw raves held inside abandoned orbital stations, derelict cargo vessels, subterranean moon colonies, and forgotten industrial ruins illuminated by generator-powered strobes.

During the late '90s, The Same Guy became part of the experimental acid jazz duo Lunar Deep, signed to the mysterious New Breed Records, where he pushed genre boundaries with a combination of analog groove, fractured rhythms, and offbeat structure. His evolution continued during his time on Buffalo-7, where he performed throughout underground clubs and clandestine rave networks while helping shape the planet's emerging electronic music movement as a member of the pioneering RoM Collective. At the same time, he remained deeply connected to the thriving rave culture of Toronto Nova, drawing inspiration from the cross-system fusion of sound, technology, and community.

With influences spanning decades, worlds, and countless dancefloors, The Same Guy has spent years refining his vision—fusing deep rhythmic precision with spatial sound design and an instinct for creating immersive sonic environments.

Now, he steps forward with “Forgotten Future,” his debut EP: a cosmic blend of Storytelling, Melodic Techno, and touches of Experimental. Each track is engineered to resonate on both the physical and emotional levels, offering a future-forward interpretation of cosmic travel.

More than a producer, The Same Guy is a storyteller through sound—shaping hypnotic grooves, atmospheric textures, and immersive frequencies designed to move minds as much as bodies.

With “Forgotten Future,” he begins a new chapter—one rooted in the underground, transmitted across the cosmos, and aimed squarely at the stars.
